The Executive Coaching Programme consists of the following steps:
COACHING AGREEMENT
Coaching for talent development in business involves an active communication between the coach, the coaching participant, and the stakeholders (unless i am coaching a CEO). Therefore, the terms of the coaching contract, agreement and guidelines are agreed upon at the very beginning. I establish commitment from the organisation and from the person who will be coached so that clear guidelines are understood by both partners. I discuss the importance of confidentiality in the coaching relationship along with any information shared between the coach and coaching participant to remain private, unless otherwise agreed.
COACHING OBJECTIVES
We identify the most important objectives and specific performance goals for the coaching relationship. A measurable action plan is developed identifying the key behaviours to be changed and outlining specific metrics to be achieved. Designing objectives and metrics at this stage assures that the benefits are clearly achieved and the return on investment is known. I do this by identifying the three highest priority objectives, developing a measurable, outcome-based action plan. And agreeing on expectations, commitments, ground rules and alignment of goals and objectives.
COACHING SESSIONS
I implement the required actions and behaviour changes so the desired results can be achieved. My job as an executive coach is to help great, highly motivated, executives get better at what they believe is most important. I strictly follow the ICF coaching guidelines and do not tell my clients what to do. Instead I will partner with my clients and create a safe, non-judgemental space for them to explore their issues, so they can create change and move towards their desirable outcome, all the while being held accountable.
STAKEHOLDER UPDATE
My ongoing follow-ups are very efficient and focused. Within six months i conduct a two-to-six item mini-survey with key stakeholders. I then review the results and start again. If the person being coached has taken the process seriously, stakeholders almost invariably report improvement. I then build on that success by repeating the process for the next 12 to 18 months. This type of follow-up will assure continued progress on initial goals and uncover additional areas for improvement.
CLOSE-OUT MEETING
Following the last coaching session, i hold a close-out meeting with the immediate manager and key stakeholders (unless i am coaching a CEO) to review the success achieved.

Individual investment - The client pays for the entire executive coaching themselves.

Company Sponsored - The organisation pays the entire amount for the executive coaching programme.

Partially Company-Sponsored - The organisation and the client make a joint contribution to the payment.
